StopWilt Plant Tonic

StopWilt is a truly unique product designed for use in hydroponic systems. StopWilt does exactly what it says!
There are many diseases which attack the plant roots and the result is usually root death. When this happens, the plant is unable to take up enough water and nutrients to stop it from wilting. As it begins to wilt, the plant will attempt to close the stomata or pores on the underside of the leaf.
It is through these pores that the plant loses water. This stream of water through the roots and up through the plant is known as the transpiration stream and is the stream in which all the nutrients are carried and this stream of water also cools the plant. These pores (stomata) have specialised cells called guard cells which regulate the opening and closing process. Those cells are supercharged with potassium which acts as the regulatory mechanism.
When the roots are damaged, the plant is unable to take up enough water to satisfy its requirements and it is not able to close its stomata through lack of potassium.

StopWilt supplies the potassium in an easily assimilated form thus allowing the plant to better regulate the water flow by pumping up the guard cells. This allows the plant to activate its immune system to combat disease.

Application Rate : Use ½ ml per litre of nutrient solution as a preventative and 1 ml per litre if disease is or has been a problem.
