At 75 to 90 lumens per watt, these lights are energy efficient and extremely effective. Fluorescent grow lights produce a better colour spectrum (more of the light emitted is used by the plant) and produce much less heat than HID grow lights, which allows them to be placed close to the plant.
Sunmate propagation lights are ideal for propagation and early vegetative growth. CFL's (Compact Flourescents) are available in two spectrums, a blue for the growing period and a red for the flowering period.
