We are pleased to introduce this 150 watt Digital Grow Lighting System to our customers. We believe it is perfect for meeting the needs of hobby hydroponics growers who are limited to a confined space but still crave the fuller harvests HPS lighting provides. With this lighting system, it is now viable for one or two plants to be grown in much smaller spaces with HPS lights. The 150 watt Digital Grow Light System is made up of a Maxibright 150 watt DigiLight Ballast, a Sunmaster 150 watt Dual Spectrum bulb and a Euro Reflector. In store tests have shown that this unit works really effectively inside a DR60 Grow Tent with a HVK100mm Extraction Kit. Using a passive intake system in this setup seems to result in a reasonably stable temperature, without the expense of fan speed controllers. With the winter approaching, overheating should not be an issue for a few months, so this Lighting System is the bargain of the year for small-scale growers!

Initial customer feedback has been positive, with many stating it has finally filled a void in the market for small grow areas. The 150watt Grow Lights brings another dimension to Indoor Horticulture by making it possible to use even smaller spaces. Some customers this past summer have replaced their 400watt grow light systems with two of these 150watt grow lights, due to height issues, and have managed to complete a full grow cycle sucessfully.

The build quality for this digital ballast is rock solid.

The Maxibright DigiLight 150watt unit allows Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium lamps to be used. The heat output from the lamp is intense but much less so than from a higher wattage. As a result the lamp can be kept at around 7 to 8 inches without stressing your plants. Please however bear in mind when purchasing this grow light system that the total canopy penetration is going to be no more than 50cm at best. So it is best suited for small plant varieties.

One of the few drawbacks to this Grow Light System is that the euro reflector is not as good as some other 150watt grow lights systems presently on the market. But as it only cost £69, you can buy nearly two of these units for the same money other options cost, including the online delivery costs. So the slightly lower quality reflector should not hold too much sway in selecting this unit for your DR60 Grow Tent.
