The T5 2-Way is great when your plants are just starting out and you are still weaning them using Formulex. If your small clones are at this stage then too much light and heat can stunt their growth or worse kill them. So it is essential that you use the correct Propagation Light for the task at hand. 3CH would not suggest or think it is practical to use a High Intensity Discharge (HID) Grow Light at this stage. Its just cutting corners and can delay the propagation stage or create poor performers later on down the road.

Another option to consider with this T5 is to use a Clone Cube Tent C and put two T5 units inside. That way you can bring up two sets of Clones to maturity at the same time. This Lightwave T5 unit is highly recommended and is a big seller.

This Clone Light comes with Blue spectrum tubes that are designed for Growing as standard. To really get the best out of these Clone Lights we would suggest positioning the unit about 3-4cm above the plant tops. To create results fast and get some great Clones it is also worth considering a Clip on Fan. This will help in two ways; first it will move any possible height build up from the top of the Plants and secondly it will help strengthen the Clones, by building up resistance to force created by the Clip on Fan.
