Established in 1991, 3CH (3 Counties Hydroponics) has built its reputation on cherry-picking the very best hydroponics products and offering them to our customers with unbeatable prices and peerless standards of service. 

The 3CH story started in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon, where we were determined to provide an alternative to the majority of retailers in the hydroponics industry who saw hydroponics as an easy way to exploit people by charging rip-off prices and misleading their customers with exaggerated claims of the yields they could expect when using the overpriced products they were sold.

3CH allows its valued customers the opportunity to purchase quality hydroponics equipment from a reliable and impartial retailer, whilst also offering the lowest possible prices. Unlike many other retailers we do not try and sell you products that offer us the biggest profit margin. We stock a wide variety and only ever give an honest opinion on any product - any advice we might give is gained from our customers' feedback, and not from our wholesalers' and manufacturers' often overstated claims.

We have sold hydroponics equipment to a wide range of different organisations such as universities, schools, hospitals, airports, nurseries and even oil refineries. Our most celebrated sale to date was to the BBC Gardener's World TV programme when, on the 10th June 2005 edition of the show, we supplied both the expert advice and the hydroponics equipment featured. We have built our business on appreciating our customers and giving them the best possible service. That is why they return to us time after time. We always keep high levels of stock in order not to disappoint our customers.

After moving from our original Henley-on-Thames premises, we relocated to Reading. From there we began to expand, opening stores in Dartford, Kent, and Watford, Hertfordshire, in late 2008. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, with ever-expanding customer demand leading us to open premises in Maidstone, Oxford, Chertsey, Waltham Abbey, Canterbury, West Thurrock, Aylesbury, St Albans and Slough. Our most recent shops to open were Mottingham in London, and High Wycombe, Bucks, both of which began trading in Spring 2011.
